1. Our basic approach

The Studio does not collect information it does not need.

2. Website (studioyk1.com)

• We do not collect information that identifies users. We do not use cookies, analytics, or advertising.
• The server keeps ordinary access logs (IP address, date and time, pages viewed, browser type). They are used only for operating the server and preventing abuse.
• Information received through inquiry emails (email address, name, message) is used only to reply.

3. The “Nekogaku” apps

• The apps do not collect information that identifies users (such as name, email address, device identifiers, or location), and do not send it anywhere.
• The name, exam date, and study records you enter are stored only on your device. They are not sent to the Studio or to any third party.
• The questions and read-aloud audio are included in the app. The app does not communicate over the network for studying.
• The apps contain no advertising or analytics, and there is no user registration.

4. App: Planetarium Sea of Stardust (Meta Quest / Steam)

• We do not collect information that identifies you, such as your name, email address or location.
• Your game progress, settings and records (save data) are stored only on your device. They are not sent to us or to any third party.
• On Meta Quest, the app uses the user identifier provided by the Meta platform, on your device only, for two purposes. It is not sent to us.
  • Confirming that the app was obtained properly
  • Keeping separate save data for each person when several people share one headset
• There are no ads, no analytics and no user registration. The game does not communicate over the network for gameplay.
• Payments are processed by the Meta Horizon Store or Steam. We do not receive card numbers or other payment details.
• Uninstalling the app deletes all of its records from your device.

5. Purchases

Purchases of the apps (including purchases within an app) are handled and paid for through Google Play or the App Store. The Studio does not receive payment information such as card details.

6. Provision to third parties

We do not provide information received through inquiries to third parties, except where required by law.

7. Deleting data

Deleting (uninstalling) an app erases all records stored on the device. If you would like your inquiry emails deleted, please contact us at the address below.

8. Products in development

Planetarium Sea of Stardust is covered in section 4 above. For other products still in development, we will add to this page when they are released.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we will publish the change on this page.
