Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By installing or using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to the Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Nature of the App

The App is an unofficial study tool for Japanese qualification exams. It is not affiliated with any body that administers the exams (the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, prefectural governments, the Social Welfare Promotion and National Examination Center, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, boards of education, prefectural public safety commissions, and others). Always check the official announcements of the body you are applying to for exam dates, scope, and procedures.

3. Content

The questions and explanations in the App were written independently by the Studio, based on the following publicly available official materials.

• Registered Seller Exam — Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, “Guide to Preparing Examination Questions”
• Certified Care Worker, Certified Social Worker, Mental Health Social Worker — past exam questions published by the Social Welfare Promotion and National Examination Center
• Driver’s licenses — Rules of the Road (a National Public Safety Commission notice)
• Teacher Employment Exam — laws and regulations (e-Gov), the Courses of Study, the Student Guidance Manual, and the Basic Plan for the Promotion of Education

We strive for accuracy, but the App does not guarantee that you will pass, nor does it guarantee the accuracy or currency of its content. Systems and laws may change.

4. Read-aloud audio

The read-aloud audio in the App was synthesized with VOICEVOX (VOICEVOX:九州そら). You may not extract the audio from the App for redistribution or any other use.

5. Intellectual property

Rights in the questions, explanations, corrections, screen designs, illustrations, and software contained in the App belong to the Studio or their rightful owners. Rights in the source materials listed above belong to the respective organizations. You may not copy, repost, redistribute, or modify the App’s content beyond the scope of personal study.

6. Prohibited conduct

• Analyzing, modifying, or decompiling the App
• Redistributing the App or its content to third parties
• Using the App in a way that violates the law or the terms of Google Play or the App Store
• Infringing the rights of the Studio or any third party

7. Subscriptions and refunds

Some features of the App may be offered as a paid subscription. The price and term are shown on the Google Play or App Store screen before purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current term, and the fee is charged at each renewal. You can cancel in the account settings of the respective store. If you cancel during a term, you can continue to use the App until the end of that term; no prorated refunds are given. Purchases, payments, and refunds follow the terms and procedures of each store, and the Studio does not receive payment directly from users.

8. User information

The name, exam date, and study records you enter are stored only on your device. For how we handle user information, see the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, the Studio is not liable for any damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the App. The same applies to exam results.

10. Changes to and termination of the service

The Studio may change the content of the App or discontinue it without notice.

11. Changes to the Terms

If we change the Terms, we will publish the change on this page. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

The Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute relating to the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
